Ground clearance
Check chassis deflection and loaded clearance as well as static height.
AGV & AMR MOBILITY
Build around the chassis height available after the battery and payload are placed. Evaluate direct wheel drive and shallow side-mounted layouts against starting torque.

Use the actual route, payload and acceleration profile.
A hub layout, side-mounted motor and geared module place different demands on bearing support and packaging. Supply a drawing that includes the wheel, brake, gearbox, cable bend and service access. Avoid judging total drive depth from the motor body alone.
Specify payload, slope, wheel radius and acceleration. Combine the traction requirement with current limits and a realistic thermal cycle. Request peak-duration and recovery information so a single successful start is not mistaken for continuous route capability.
Not necessarily. Compare the complete assembly for both layouts, including the motor diameter, support bearings, brake and wheel interface.
